About

I am an artist and plant fetishist. My journey with plants started about 12 years ago, when I moved to a remote beach in Cyprus in order to recover from burnout and care for my auto-immune challenged husband. Slowly I connected with my surroundings and became inspired to work with plants and diet.

Wisdom from my country side childhood and Finnish, witchy maternal lineage started to resurface and soon foraging, fermenting and herbal teas became part of my daily routine.

I’ve been a vegetarian, occasionally vegan, for 40 years and have always loved gathering people around a pot of nourishing food.

For three years we ran a deli in old town Copenhagen with the aim of introducing fresh, healthy lunch options. During covid I started to embrace the wisdom of plants in a more structured manner through studying at the wonderful School of Natural Medicine.

Now I live in the mountains of Portugal with my husband and two dogs. Passionately cooking, fermenting, foraging and making herbal medicines and balms.
